That you can add the hit counter to a shared border to get a more accurate count of hits to your site, rather than counting how many times on person may return to the page with the hit counter?
By putting the hit counter in a shared border, it will
allow your viewer to browse the pages on your site, but only count that hit as
one as they move about the site. The only hits registered will be when someone
first enters the site!
The background image will appear to remain stationary with the text only moving.
Adding Sound to Site, Not Just Page
This can be done using frames by putting the background sound in an "invisible" frame. Doing this will allow the viewer to view all of the contents of the site with the background sound playing without having to reload the sound or add the sound to every page.
